We heard you! Coaches want to create their own
packages to fit the needs of their own team within their
own budget. You can do that at the AmeriCup. Athlete
package required for all dancers. Ala carte options
available to anyone. Two free coach packages given per
team registration. Additional packages are available.
Prizes and scholarships are presented
throughout the weekend.

All Athletes and Coaches are required to have a package plan
reserved for them. Additional options listed below. Athletes are also required to
stay in one of the official DX properties. Hotel rooms must be
reserved through the Team or Guest accounts. The group rate is
available for guests attending.
Athlete
All athletes competing on a team
are required to purchase an athlete package. Awards Gala
tickets are not included and may be purchased
separately. All American and Performer of the Year candidates are
required to attend the Awards Gala on Saturday evening.
It is highly encouraged, but not required that Super
Star and Dance Team Challenge competitors attend the
Gala as well. Don't forget to order Awards Gala tickets for coaches and
fans. All athlete packages include admission to all
events, event keepsakes, insurance and team competition
fees.
Coach
Each coach is required to have a package reserved
for them. Dance Xtreme provides 2 free coach packages
per team registration. Should you have additional
coaches you would be required to purchase a coach
package at $55. Awards Gala tickets are provided in all coach packages,
the free as well as purchased. Coach packages include the required
ID pass. This is needed for admittance back stage,
one-on-one discussions with the judges and to pick up
score sheets as well as admission to all events and
coach gifts. Hoodies are not included in the coach
package but may be ordered ala carte.
Fans
Fans are not required to purchase a package but must
have admission tickets to entire the team competition
auditorium. Individual public competitions are free.
Don't forget to order Awards Gala tickets if your
son/daughter is competing in individual or small group
competitions.
Parent Competitors
Parents competing at the AmeriCup are required to
purchase a package. Coaches will included parent
competitors on their accounts and create a roster
selecting the parent divisions. Dance Xtreme will apply
a 50% credit for each parent package. Parent competitor
packages include admission to all events, event
keepsake, insurance and team competition fee.
Special Needs
Special need competitors are free but must be
included on the account and rosters. Dance Xtreme will
apply a 100% credit for each special need athlete. All
special need athlete packages include admission to all
events, event keepsakes, insurance and team competition
fees.
Awards Gala
Awards Gala tickets include a formal sit-down
dinner, awards program and dance. It is strongly
encouraged that attendees wear prom dresses to church
clothing. Men should wear shirts and ties. Jackets are
nice but not required. This is your chance to dress up
like a princess and shine. Often dancers come to
Minneapolis and go to the Mall of America to purchase
their prom dresses. Minnesota does not have a tax on
clothing.
Prizes
Prizes and scholarships are presented
throughout the weekend.
Prize packages are given to individual
champions and comprised of scholarship
dollars, merchandise, sponsor gifts, etc.
Teams earn awards for overall placement
within their division as well as the Grand
Championship. Specialty awards are given for
National Coach of the Year, Hall of Fame,
Academic Excellence and Sportsmanship awards.
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit is due at the time
of registration..
A $1,000 deposit is due at the time of
registration to secure your placement at the
AmeriCup. This is non-refundable. Early bird
and special discounts have different amounts
due. Refer to specific promotional flyers
for details.
Remit any prize money certificates along
with registration form to receive full
credit for your awards. Certificates must
accompany forms in order to be credited to
your account
Payment Schedule
Specific due dates are necessary in order to
coordinate an event of this magnitude. Teams
must adhere to due dates or late fees will be
applied.
PAYMENT
DUE DATES
Payments and paperwork will not be accepted
at the event.
1. November 15th -- $1000
2. December 15th -- $1,000
3. January 15th -- half the balance
4. February 1st -- balance as of this
date
5. February 15th -- final balance for additional monies owed
FINALIZATION OF
ACCOUNT
In order to be placed on the competition
schedule, your account must:
1. have all signed waivers turned into Dance
Xtreme's office
2. be paid in full
3. be finalized online
PAYMENT OPTIONS
School or organization checks only. No
personal checks accepted. No checks accepted after January 31st.
Money orders, cashier's checks or credit
cards only.
Include team name and account number on the
memo line.
Charge:
Login to your online account and make a
payment. A 3.5% service fee is added to all
credit card charges and/or refunds
Late Fees
Payments must be postmarked by the due date
in order to avoid late fee charge.
LATE FEES
February 15th - $100 late fee
February 18th - $100 additional late fee
February 20th - $100 additional late fee
Daily - $25 additional late fee applied per
day up to event start date
RETURNED CHECKS
A $50 fee will be added to your account for
all returned checks.
Package Cancellation Policy
Packages may be canceled without penalties
within a reasonable time frame. If cancelations
occur after this date, a package cancelation fee
will be applied to your account.
Deposits -- non-refundable
plus, after January 15th - $50
per package is non-refundable
and after January 16th -- all fees
paid are non-refundable
Hotel Cancellation Policy
Due to the enormous task of coordinating
teams and guests at their preferred hotel
properties, fees are collected at the time of
registration for guests.
Teams make payments
according to the payment schedule. Hotel
assignments are reserved on a first-come,
first-serve basis and the availability of space
requested. Meet Minneapolis, Dance Xtreme's
housing bureau, will assign all room blocks and
notify clients once confirmed. Should you need
to cancel a room for any reason, cancelation

college dance programs are not financially
supported by the school. To avoid individual
hardships, Dance Xtreme offers special discounts
and free events for collegiate dancers.
